If you found your base listing from our search box, you can click on the "CLAIM BUSINESS" to get started or you can click the "REGISTER" button at the top of the page. Either way, site registration is mandatory and the first step you need to take.
There will be a few basic fields of information needed and you'll click "SUBMIT". You can't go any further into the site until you confirm the email that we sent you. This is a must in order to keep the spammers off of our site.
Once you click the link in the email, you'll be taken to the site where you can log in. There will alway be a login button at the top of the page when you revisit the site. Once logged in, we suggest you search for your business in the search box. If so, click the "CLAIM BUSINESS" button. You'll have a base to start from.
If there isn't a starter page already available: Go to USER MENU, Choose BUSINESS USER, then ADD BUSINESS LISTING.
KEYWORDS: Start typing keywords in the box. Once you’ve entered a word, hit enter, and each word will be saved. These keywords are used by internal and external search engines to identify your business. makeup, hair products, waxing, spray tan, etc. Whatever keywords help define your business.
BUSINESS SLOGAN: If you have a slogan, put it here.
*SHORT DESCRIPTION: This will show up on all search results briefly describing your business. Max 500 characters.
BUSINESS DESCRIPTION: A more concise description which will be displayed prominently on your listing page. Max 5000 characters.
BUSINESS CLASSIFICATION
*CATEGORY: Choose from the dropdown list the categories that best describe your business. You may choose up to 6 different categories and sub-categories.
*MAIN CATEGORY: This is the main category your business will be placed under. Main categories are in ALL CAPS in the dropdown list.
ADDITIONAL INFO
This will populate only if you choose a category in which further information is required.
OPENING HOURS
Add your open hours so that potential customers will know when to contact you. You have alternative choices in the dropdown menu.
BUSINESS LOCATION
ADDRESS: An actual address is not mandatory unless your customers need to find your location.
*STATE, *CITY and *POSTAL CODE are mandatory fields.
ACTIVITY RADIUS: Especially useful for contractors and services who will only travel a certain distance. This field isn’t necessary for a brick and mortar business.
LATITUDE and LONGITUDE are automatically populated by your address entered. This will precisely place you on a map which will be available on your finished listing page.
BUSINESS CONTACT INFORMATION
These are all optional fields but if you want potential customers to be able to reach you, we suggest you fill them out.
BUSINESS CONTACT PERSON
You have the ability to add numerous contacts for your business. These will be shown on your final listing page.
SOCIAL NETWORKS
Add the direct URL to your social networks. These will be available on your listing page that customers may click and view you social network pages.
ADD IMAGE TO REPRESENT YOUR LISTING
The LOGO image is probably the most important image. This will show on all search results and your listing page.
The COVER image isn’t currently being used with the free basic package.
BUSINESS PICTURES & CUSTOM IMAGE GALLERY
You may add photos of your work, location or products in both of these galleries. Photos will be viewable on your final listing page. These are not mandatory.
ADD YOUR LISTING AD
You may add a small listing advertisement if you choose, to be show on your listing page.
BUSINESS TESTIMONIALS
Another optional section where you can place testimonials from satisfied customers.
EXTRA TAB INFORMATION
We make another optional tab on your listing page to place further information. Price lists, menus etc.
You can save and close this page at any time. By logging in and going to your Business Control Panel, you can complete or modify your listing at any time.
